Dear Friends:
As a Jewish community, our primary commitments are nurtured
and sustained by the study and practice of our rich spiritual and
intellectual heritage. Our People has remained vibrant and our
message compelling precisely because each generation of Jews has engaged
in the study of Torah. In encountering God’s unique message of Torah,
we sustain and evolve our community, ensuring both our authenticity and
our relevance.
Last year, all of us at Congregation Ner Tamid were blessed
to inaugurate a formalized program of Jewish study, designed
specifically to address the intellectual interests and spiritual
considerations of adults. CNT’s newly conceived Adult Jewish
Learning Center (AJLC) built successfully in its first year upon our
community’s rich history of adult education programming. In this, our
AJLC’s second year, we will aim to enhance and deepen Jewish study for
adults in our community.
Judaism is not merely “for the children;” it is for each of
us, and it waits our discovery, no matter the extent of our respective
Jewish backgrounds. Each of our offerings this year is aimed to
accommodate the novice and advanced student alike. We hope that both
our CNT membership and our guests will take fullest advantage of our
AJLC’s offerings.

our heritage, in search of a deeper and more meaningful Jewish
experience.
