2011 High Holy Days Campaign

Dear Friends,

We hope that you are enjoying your summer and that this letter finds you well. As the High Holy Days approach, we write with regard to our community’s High Holy Days Campaign. As most synagogues, our congregation depends upon our High Holy Days Campaign as a vital source of annual operational income. Membership dues, tuitions, and fees support only approximately fifty-percent (50%) of our annual operational budget. A strong and successful High Holy Days Campaign is a necessity to maintain our programming and services throughout the year.   As last year, our community is blessed this year with a special opportunity. Our High Holy Days Benefactors for 2011/5772 have pledged $45,000 as a matching-contribution to the total increase in member pledges over last year’s pledges.  

Each of us can now make any increase in our High Holy Days Campaign contribution (over last year’s contribution) count twice, up to a synagogue-total of $45,000!

Ralph’s: Go to www.ralphs.com and select Community Contribution Program to sign up. Enter in NPO Number 83787 for our synagogue. If you have any problems, contact Jackie Profeta, our synagogue receptionist, at 310-377-6986 to walk you through or enter your information in. You will need your Ralph’s Club Card number.

Albertson': Go to www.albertsons.com. Go to “In the Community” (bottom of page). Go to “Albertson’s Community Partners” (right side of page). Go to “Shoppers login or register” and put in your preferred card # and phone #. Click on “Sign Me Up”. Then sign up for CNT as your community recipient with ID# 49001009676. Click “Update Now”. Then hit “Home” (upper right) and then “Exit” (upper right). If for some reason you need additional help you can call Albertson’s Customer Service at 1-877-9-EASY-4-U.
