What is the dress code?
Dress to impress! This is an adults-only, fancy event. So pull out those cocktail or full-length dresses, suits and ties (or tux if you really want to elevate the mood) and enjoy the night out!
What type of food will there be?
We will have lots of appetizers, a full buffet dinner and a large dessert display by Simon’s Catering. You will not leave hungry!
What level of Kashrut can I expect?
The caterer is a Glatt kosher caterer. There will be a mashgiach on site to ensure that everything is done with the highest level of kashrut to satisfy all the different needs of the community.
Will food/ingredients be labeled for food allergies?
We will be working hard with our caterer to ensure that food allergens are listed.
I have never been to a CNT gala. What is the event like?
This event is to honor exceptional members of the CNT community and is a big fundraiser for the synagogue. At the gala you will have an opportunity to participate in a silent auction, have a full course meal and open bar, hear the incredible accomplishments of our honorees and dance the night away.

I am uncomfortable sitting with people I don't know. How are the tables arranged?
Our committee works hard to seat groups of friends together. To that end, you will also be able to request some others with whom to be seated.
Where does the money raised go to?
The CNT board uses the funds raised at the Gala toward a variety of projects including but not limited to improvements and repairs of the facilities, bringing in speakers/events for the community, and scholarships for membership.
What does my Gala ticket include?
Open bar, full course meal, and entertainment all night long.
Is my Gala ticket fee tax deductible?
Your Gala ticket is not tax deductible, but your sponsorship or tribute book ad are both tax deductible!
How are the honorees chosen?
The Gala committee, along with the CNT board and staff, determined the honorees based on their long-term commitment and impact to CNT.
How does the silent auction work?
We have lots of items from jewelry and art, to gift cards and sporting events for you to bid on. Guests will be able to bid on the items at the event itself. We are looking into ways that individuals who cannot attend the event but would like to participate are able to do so. More to come.
What is the drawing?
We will be having a drawing of a few high ticket items such as plane tickets and timeshare vacations. You can purchase as many drawing tickets as you would like (even if you are not attending the Gala!) to try your luck at winning! CLICK HERE to purchase drawing tickets.
