Membership

Congregation Ner Tamid (CNT) has long been the place where congregants, families and friends have gathered to experience the beauty of our Jewish heritage.  It’s a place where we celebrate life’s most meaningful events and a place where we seek comfort in times of need.  For more than 60 years, CNT has brought joy, support, inspiration, friendship and community from generation to generation.

We believe that you will find a special place within our congregation, and offer a reduced membership dues structure for some of our membership types (details on rates can be found below).   Our programs and activities are as varied as our membership and we invite your participation as well as your help in their planning and implementation.

Consider joining us for a Friday Evening or Shabbat Morning Service to meet members of our community.

Membership Application (New Members Only)

Thank you for your interest in joining Congregation Ner Tamid of South Bay.  To begin your membership application process, please fill out the form below and we will be in touch with you to finalize the membership.  The required fields are designated below as required.  Feel free to defer the other information if you are unsure of the responses or need more time.

To better serve our community, we offer several types of memberships; family memberships, individual/single parent memberships, senior memberships and for those outside of the greater Los Angeles area, we offer a virtual membership so that you may participate even from afar!
 
New Membership Rates
For those who are first-time members, we offer new member rates for both families and individuals.  Our new family memberships are a two-year program and our individual membership rates are a one-year program and are as follows:

Family membership year 1:  $1,800
Family membership year 2:  $3,600
Individual membership year 1:  $1,800

Congregation Ner Tamid Full Membership Rates (effective 7-1-24)

Family Membership dues:  $4,250
Individual Membership dues:  $2,750
Milestone*:  $1,800

* Milestone memberships are for those members in which at least one adult is 83 or older.
