CNT Sisterhood
Sisterhood of CNT supports the synagogue’s and Women’s League’s goals in various ways, promotes Tikkun Olam projects and Torah Fund programs around the world. Specific events are listed above, on the CNT Website and the weekly eblast. Our current activities include:
· Jewish themed activities to socialize and promote friendships;
· Participation in Tikkun Olam projects that benefit local organizations;
· Raising funds to support the Preschool, CLAL and USY Programs;
· Camp Ramah and Camp Alonim Scholarships;
· Sponsoring Friday Evening Onegs;
· Provide Bereavement Table Assistance;
· Supporting Torah Fund programs which assists Rabbis, Cantors and Educators in their professional growth;
· Sisterhood Shabbat;
· Sponsoring the Judaica Shop.
Some of our past activities have been CPR classes, Mah Jongg tournaments and Play Days; the innovative "Bubbe of the Month" in our preschool, Adopt a
Family in collaboration with Harbor Regional Center, numerous collections benefiting local shelters, Challah baking for the Caring Committee, the High Holiday Greeting Booklet fund raiser, our annual Torah Fund Campaign, and Sisterhood Shabbat.

To sign up, please either mail in a check to CNT or sign up directly online on the CNT Website, under the “Community” category. If you are not a CNT member, you are still welcome to join Sisterhood. We invite all who wish to do so, participate with us, whether it is for a one-time activity or for every event.
If you have any questions, need more information, want to share your ideas or would like to volunteer, please let us know. We appreciate your support in our endeavors.

Camp Ramah and Camp Alonim Scholarships:
Sisterhood is pleased to provide confidential need based financial assistance to CNT members in good standing for a child’s attendance at Camp Ramah or Camp Alonim. Applications are available through CLAL and USY in the Spring.
Torah Fund
The Torah Fund Campaign of Women’s League for Conservative Judaism is the dedicated philanthropy of Women’s League, its members, and its affiliated sisterhoods in Conservative congregations across the globe. Torah Fund strengthens Jewish education by supporting scholarships and programming at these Conservative/Masorti institutes of higher Jewish learning:
- The Jewish Theological Seminary (New York)
- Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies (Los Angeles)
- Schechter Institute of Jewish Studies (Jerusalem)
- Seminario Rabínico Latinoamericano (Buenos Aires)
- Zacharias Frankel College (Germany)
